Stetson Kuykendall, age 6, is excited to be highlighted as Driver of the week. This is Stetson's first season racing and this week he received his first feature win. Stetson discovered his ove for go-karts while watching Colten adn Jase Dawson race last season. He begged us all last year for a kart of his own. This season he is begging for his own set of Vegas. When Stet isn't getting ready for a race, he's enjoying baseball, basketball and soccer. Stetson wants to give a huge shoutout to Ang and Josh for welcoming him to MDS this year, Herb for taking the time to show him flags, Donald for talking in his ear those first few times, and most importantly Colten and Willy Dawson for always making sure his kart is ready for the next race.
Colten Dawson, Age 11, is also excited to be highlighted as driver of the week. This is Colten's second full season. He spends the majority of his free time making improvements to his kart and trying to figure out how to be better and faster. All of that hard work paid of for Colten this week! he got his first feature win of the season. When hes not racing or preparing for a race, you can find him playing baseball or basketball. Colten wants to give a special shoutout to Donald and Ducky for all the advice they have given him this year. "I LOVE MASON DIXON"
Doug thomas is from Meyersdale, Pa and has been racing for 4 years. Doug is the first winner of the annual Joe Conn memorial race held in 2022. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and working on anything from houses to cars. He’s quite the mastermind if you haven’t noticed “The Ramper” sitting at the race track housing all the racing necessities for his family.
Jack Miller is an 8 year old from Meyersdale. He is going into 3rd grade, when not go kart racing he loves watching nascar and world of outloaws racing. He likes driving RC Cars. Thanks to Dad who does all the kart maintenance and thanks to Travis and Bo Smith for their help and pointers
Bo Smith, age 9 from Meyersdale, PA, is excited to be highlighted as Driver of the Week at his home track, Mason Dixon. In 3 years time, Bo has raced at many different tracks picking up wins at 10 of them and earned his 90th feature win at The Joe Conn Memorial Race. He loves being with friends and family no matter where he travels and is the biggest supporter of his Juicebox racing sister Audra. Bo would like to thank Tonya, Ang, and Josh for all they do to keep making Mason Dixon a great place to race so close to home.
McKinley Ludden is 4 years old. He is the son of PJ and Ashey Ludden. Mckiney started to run juicebox this year at Mason Dixon Speedway and has 3 feature wins! He is super focused when he is on the track and hopefully one day will be an amazing racer. He was quiet and shy before starting to race and this has really brought him out of his shell. Mckinley also emjoys spending time with his dog "Bo Boat" aka Luna and running anything that has a set of wheels and goes fast.
Lainey Ludden is 17 years old and is a Senior at Salisbury Elk Lick high school. She is the daughter of Pj and Ashley Ludden.She runs the women’s predator class and got her first feature win at Mason Dixon this past weekend! Lainey started racing at the end of last season and you can watch her improve every weekend and get faster and faster and more comfortable. Lainey spends her free time working on the go karts and with her family and friends which is what is most important to her. She enjoys going to Mason Dixon because she says the track is like one big family and she has made some really good friends. Lainey enjoys driving anything with a set of wheels and that goes fast, but most importantly she wants to thank her uncle Eric smith and her father and mother for making this all possible and always pushing for her to be better and to keep doing what she loves.
Audra Smith, age 5, is the daughter of Travis and Kelli Smith and the little sister of Bo Smith. Audra began driving the JuiceBox division in August of 2022 and has 22 feature wins under her belt at 5 different tracks. She is laser focused while diving and continuously nails the starts. Beyond racing, Audra loves dance, gymnastics, and traveling. She is excited to be Driver of the Week and thanks Mason Dixon for making her time as a JuiceBox driver so special. Thanks as well to TurBo Smith Racing and her race family for always supporting her week in and out.
Bentley is 11 years old and is the son of Pj and Ashley Ludden. Bentley attends Salisbury-Elk Lick School. Bentley started racing in 2022 and got his first feature win at MDS this week. Bentley enjoys racing, riding his 4 wheeler and playing baseball. He owes a huge thanks to his Uncle Eric Smith who has helped him every step of the way. He would also like to thank his entire family for their support and the push to be better.

Avayah Rae is 10 years old and is the daughter of Kody (Alaina) Donaldson and Brandi Burkholder (Scott Miller). She attends Meyersdale Area School District. Her interests are dancing, playing softball, spending time with her family, and playing with all her little sisters Katana, Charleigh, Kenzie, and Korina. This is Avayah’s first season racing. She looks forward to more trip to MDS victory lane! Avayah would like to thank everyone for cheering her on and being supportive at the track, Preston and Chase for her cart, Doug and Kayla for their helpful tips, but a HUGE thank you to Scott and her Daddy for making racing happen for her!
Don Wiland, meyersdale, son of Sonya Weimer. is one of this weeks Drivers of the Week. He is an avid racer with multiple MDS track championships and more feature wins than we can count. He took home 2 feature wins this week! His interests are racing, fishing, hunting and hanging with his dog Snoop. If Donald isn't at MDS you can find him zooming around a race track somewhere.
Lonnie McKenzie, 51, started racing karts 4 years ago. Before Go karting he Raced street stock at thunder valley and Bedford for 14 years. Lonnie alsoRaced late model at jennerstown for 5 years.
Tristin Bittner is 7 years old and is the son of Jackie and Travis Bittner.
Tristins interests are playing football, soccer, wrestling and racing.
Tristing was the founder of the number 138 jr at the age of 3. But he is wanting to change his number to 7 like the late model racer Drake Troutman. Who he really looks up to.
He would like to thank his dad, mom, nan and pap, McKenzie motorsports family, maple city tire, and the Eric smith Family for help and support of his kart.
Travis began racing around 2019-2020 season with his nephew Caden Snyder, because of MDS founder Joe Conn constantly encouraging us to run on his dream track he visioned.
During the pandemic, we made a trip to new york for a kart buyout and we have been racing ever since. Travis has multiple feature wins & two track championships in the 460 cage class @ MDS and Mountaintop. Travis made the transition to the cyclone class in 2022-2023 and achieved multiple feature wins.
Travis enjoys racing with Tristin and teaching him responsibility, good work ethic, and sportsmanship that will be helpful in his future.

Katana Jade is 10 years old and is the daughter of Kody and Alaina Donaldson. She lives in Meyersdale with her sisters Avayah, Kenzie and Korina. Katana’s interests are playing softball, dancing, and spending time with her family & friends. This is the first year Katana has ever raced. The first time she got behind her cart she fell in love! She looks forward to more trips to MDS victory lane. Katana would like to thank everyone at the track for being so welcoming and helpful during any time in need but a HUGE thank you to her daddy & Eric Smith for help making this happen for her!
Gracie started racing at Mason Dixon at the end of 2020, when she got my first kart and the rest is history. She currently holds 18 feature wins, and she won the 2022 Championship in the Cyclones class. As well as placing in the top 3 for different Championships in her cage karts the last three years. She didn’t realize how much racing would mean me to when she started compared to now. The amount of friendships gained (expecially with her favorite track official Angela), the challenges faced, and life lessons taught at the track, she will always be grateful for and means more to her than the number of wins. She would like to thank everyone out there that has supported and/or helped her, her family and friends, and most important the good Lord for what he’s done for her and blessed her with. Here’s to the rest of 2023, with the hope it’s filled with more fun, lessons, and maybe a few more wins!
Leland , 11, is going into 6th grade at Meyersdale. This is his first year racing. He wanted to thank his Mom, Dad, Brothers and family.
Jase Anderson is the driver of the 77 kart. He is the son of Jason and Becky Anderson and lives in Meyersdale with his 2 sisters and garage cat Hissy. He is 14 years old. This is Jase's 2nd season racing at MDS. He has also raced at Mountain Top and Corner Stone. In his spare time, Jase's interests are WW2 erudition, machinery, weaponry, also fishing, Xbox and Gettig out of cleaning and chores. Jase aspires to go as far as he can with his racing career. He would like to especially thank his dad, who is his crew chief, and his pa (randy Anderson), who is his #1 pit crew guy. Nicholle Hillard will be in 8th grader at Salisbury. She likes horses, nascar, xbox and fishing. She would like to thank Herb, Tracy, Her grandpap hilliard and Jesus.
Josh Kight is a first year racer. He just graduated from Southern Garrett High School. He would like to give a HUGE thank you to Colten Bachtel, Jim Redmond, Bryson Sanders and Corey Wetzel for helping him.
Chance Smith is 12 years old and lives in Kennels Mill, PA. He is in 6th grade at Meyersdale Middle School. He races in the Junior Champ and Reaper Youth Division at Mason Dixon Speedway. His younger sister Maisy started racing this year, so he has been teaching her everything he knows about racing. He also enjoys watching his older brother Cooper race there too.
Cooper stopped in at MDS to enjoy a fun night of racing close to home with his family. He picked up wins in the three classes he entered. He wants to thank Roll Speed Dynamics and AK Speed Shop for keeping him up front
Paislee Thomas is a 5 year old JuiceBox racer from Meyersdale, PA and is the daughter of Doug and Kayla Thomas. This little JuiceHead gets her love of racing honestly, as not only both her parents but other family members can be found on the track at Mason Dixon as well. This is Paislee’s second year of racing and starting on Sunday is always asking “how many more days till the racetrack?” In her time away from the track Paislee enjoys dance, soccer, gymnastics and playing with her big sister Cambreigh.
Kayla is a 2x women’s track champ. She started racing at MDS in 2020 when she and her husband Doug decided to come to the track for the first time just as spectators. That night they ended up leaving with a go kart of their own that they both raced for awhile. Kayla brought home her first win on June 6, 2020. In August of 2020 she bought her own kart, and while trying to get it set up correctly, had a couple wins here and there until the end of the season. 2021 and 2022 were her years and she ended up bringing home the women’s championship 2 years in a row! In her time away from the track she is a mom to 5 year old paislee and 11 year old Cambreigh. She most enjoys spending time with her kids and husband, modifying cars(beating my husband at the drag strip LOL), hiking, traveling, reading and antique shopping.
Marissa Tranum, is a 16 year old who lives in Westernport Md. She attends 10th grade at Mountain ridge high school. This is her 3rd year of racing. She got into racing because of bob fisher. He let her try a go kart one night after the races and she decided she was hooked. She currently have 46 feature wins!!! She runs all over Ohio, Kentucky, Pa and wv. She would like to thank all of her sponsors and the people who help her each week She cant say thank you enough for the great advice they give. She would also like to thank Bob for everything he does to get me out on the track.
Elliot Butler is a 3rd grade student from Garrett, PA. He started his racing career at MDS on April 22, 2023 placing second in the Kids Rookie class, and earning his first feature win on May 20, 2023. When he’s not racing, Elliot enjoys playing youth football, riding dirt bikes, camping, fishing and hunting with his dad. He would like to thank his dad, step-mom, grandmother and the entire Butler racing family for their love and support, and for inspiring him to race. Elliot wishes all drivers a great 2023 season.
Miss Charleigh Rose is a 4 year old going on 18. She is the daughter of Scott Miller and Brandi Burkholder. She loves running the juice box class. She loves to run around MDS with all of her buddies. She enjoys dancing, fishing and playing with her big sister Avayah.
Maisy Smith is 11 years old and lives in Kennell's Mill, PA. She attends 5th grade at Meyersdale Elementary School. She has watched her brothers Cooper and Chance race over the years and has decided to join them on the track. She has 2 feature wins in the kids rookie division this year at Mason Dixon Speedway.
Scott has been racing for a few seasons at MDS. He enjoys spending time with his girls Brandi, Charleigh and Avayah, working on karts and making new friends at the track. Shout out to Adam and Austin Mckenzie for all their help! Thank you to everyone at MDS for making it all happen. He would like to dedicate his feature win to his neighbor Tom Rayman who recently passed away.
Racing is about spending time with your family and friends. At MDS Cooper enjoys cheering on his brother chance and sister Maisy. Cooper has been racing karts for around 18 years. He started off in champ karts, but recently added flat karts to his racing program over the years. He races locally as well as series racing in PA with the help of his family, Andy Kirby at AK Speed Shop and Patrick Gilliam at Roll Speed Dynamics.
Tanner is a 12 year old student at Berlin School District. He has been racing for 3 years. He has had 2 wins at Mason Dixon Speedway. He puts a lot of time into his kart to be where he is at.
