Travis Bittner is From Meyersdale & half of the father/ son team 138 duo. Racing 460 cage for 1.5 years with around 15 wins & was the 2021 460 Track Champ. After back pain issues running the cage I decided to switch over to they cyclones. Saturday night was first cyclone win with competition to race with. Me and Joe went back to when we were kids in the United Methodist Church in Meyersdale. We grew up through school together but after that we kind of grew apart during adulthood. We were reacquainted when Joe came to work do Belt Paving as a roller operator. He was on this racing kick that was his dream and constantly talked about coming to his track. Dialogue: On a roller and paver down in WVa. Joe- You have to come up up to Mason Dixon and check it out. Bring a lawn chair & cooler. Me- You guys build and race go karts? Joe- Yea Me- Well what do you win? Joe- A feature win sticker! Me- Let me get this right… a bunch of grown ass men putting money in karts to win a sticker??? Joe seriously as can be said “well yeah”. After that conversation I thought that was the silliest thing I ever heard of. I didn’t go to the track for the longest time but after a long time of Joe’s persistence I finally came up to see the dream he was talking about. Needless to say I was hooked and currently a grown ass man racing sticker. We even started a little kart part operation called TNT karts & parts. Thank you buddy and the MDS crew for fulfilling his dream of having a nice night of racing as a family. One big happy racing family!!! I’d also like to thank every sponsor that contribute to the track to help fulfill every kid’s & man’s dream.
